born may 12th, 1971 in the small town of beaverton, michigan. i started playing instruments at the age of thirteen.

currently my focus is towards improvisational, experimental and environmental sounds. most of my time is spent looking and listening for sounds and sound textures occuring "naturally in the wild." being classically trained, my approach is to bring together the more stable and rigid constructs of western sound patterns with the ephemeral and sometimes unpredictable tonal qualities of everyday objects.

as of late, i can be found in the company of ¡SoloBasura! and more infrequently with vapor logic.
